Partner Tree Pose - Children's Yoga Austin

How to get into the pose:

Balance on one foot, spread toes, lift other foot to inside of calf or thigh. With a partner, wrap inside arm behind and hold on to partner's waist. Lift outside arm and open knee out to the side.

Tree Song:

Plant your roots! Lift your trunk! Hold your branches high! Take a deep breath! Shake your leaves, Sway from side to side!

Benefits:

Strengthens thighs, calves, ankles, and spine, Stretches the groins and inner thighs, chest and shoulders, Improves sense of balance, Relieves sciatica and reduces flat feet
