Amy Pancake
RCYT, E-RYT 200
Amy Pancake learned to work with preschool age children by working with the director of La Petite Ecole French immersion preschool. Since then she has expanded her classes to teach kids of all ages. Her experience includes 17 years of yoga teaching, kinesiology studies at U.T. Austin, ongoing study of human movement (including developmental movement with Emilie Conrad of Continuum Movement) and over 5,000 hours of kids yoga classes. She is also a Continuum teacher.
Classes are fun, engaging, incorporate movement in all planes of gravity, activities to grow attention span, social time and guidance (when needed) in social interactions. She speaks fluent Spanish and French. Many of her classes are bilingual and we often learn sweet songs and how to count in Spanish and French. At the heart of her teaching is the commitment to connect in a heartfelt way with each student so they feel safe and free to express themselves in class.
She has been working with children in schools, yoga studios, camps, and workshops for 12+ years. She has established long term relationships with many schools in the Austin area, working with students from 20 months of age through the teen years. Some of the schools she has worked with include Mariposa Montessori, Austin Montessori, Sun, Moon, Stars Learning Center, La Petite Ecole, Austin International School, and The Asian American Cultural Center, Wells Branch Elementary, Girls School of Austin, Preescolarte, Little Sheep Learning Center, Sankalpa Academy, Sammy's House, Austin Montessori, Jump! Gymnastics, Thinkery, BookPeople, and more. Her classes are popular in schools, and they can be offered as bilingual classes in Spanish/English, French/English. Liz Shakti Hudson
RCYT, E-RYT 500
Liz Shakti Hudson, E-RYT500 is a native Austinite, a yogini and meditator, world traveler, teacher, writer, jeweler, artist, entrepreneur and most of all a lover of life and all people big or little! When she found yoga almost 20 years ago, it was the home within that she had always been seeking. She began teaching children yoga in her Montessori classroom and instantly fell in love with helping people find connection to their breath, body, peaceful mind and spirit.
Liz has a Primary Montessori Certification from NAMC, a BS in Early Childhood Education from Texas State University, and 200 hour Hatha and 500 hour Kundalini Yoga certifications from Yoga Yoga. She went through the Radiant Child Yoga Certifications 1-3 with Shakta Kaur Khalsa, Vinyasa certification with Seanne Corn, as well as Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Certifications with Leslie Lytle. She is grateful for these teachers and more who have helped enlighten her yogic path.
Currently Liz teaches Pre & Postnatal, Toddlers, Kids & Teen, Family, Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative & Kundalini Yoga in schools and studios in San Francisco and the East Bay area. She loves to help people, big and small, learn various techniques to de-stress, relax and release outside thoughts, worries and tensions. She strives to empower her students to create their own practice and take away tools to use in everyday life as well as encourages them to intuitively flow into a meditative practice by connecting their movements with breath. Her goals are to have fun, to help people to bring awareness to their bodies and their life, both on and off the mat and to help spread conscious tools to children.

BIO:
Katherine is a native Austinite and proud Texan! She currently lives in South Austin with her husband, Charlie and adorable puppy Kash whom they love to spoil. As a young child she spent countless hours buried in her favorite books. This love of reading inspired by her mom prompted Katherine to head up book drives for kids and later during college volunteer as a Literacy Teacher with AmeriCorps. During this time she sought out yoga to combat stress and learn a more mindful approach to teaching. Forever transformed by this wonderful gift she shared it with her students and through practicing yoga together found her bliss.

BIO: I came to Austin for college and fell in love with the energy of the city, the live music, the food, and all the outdoor adventures. I began my work with children as a preschool teacher, where I discovered Yoga as a means to stay regulated in a busy room full of toddlers. My yoga practice deeply influenced my interactions with the children, and I knew, practicing yoga with kids was the best thing I could do. When I am not playing with children, you can find me in the kitchen baking, buried in a good book, or hiking through the woods with my dog.
