In this training we will delve into:

- cognitive, physical and emotional developmental stages for children (0-6 yrs)

- learn how to teach: postnatal, itsy bitsy, toddler, preschool yoga classes, & Family Yoga classes

- effective communication & class management techniques

- exploring different philosophical approaches (Montessori,

Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, etc...

- practice giving and receiving massage & lead families to help connect through massage & more

Meet our Guest Speakers!

Meg O'Connell has a deep interest in pregnancy and prenatal yoga, and she loves to share the joys of how yoga can help women through the transitions of pregnancy, birth and motherhood.  As a mom of three and having taught prenatal yoga for over 14 years, she has experienced and observed a wide spectrum of experiences and loves to share her knowledge. The owned a family yoga studio in Austin, Texas for 7 years that catered to women and their families.  She was honored with the Best Prenatal Yoga Teacher by Austin Birth Awards in 2011.  She launched a Prenatal Teacher Training Immersion with Michelle Ulerich in 2013, that she continues to grow, that is now recognized as a registered school with the Yoga Alliance.  

Kelly Bahe Newgord is a licensed Massage Therapist, doula and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Kelly has been practicing Massage Therapy since 1998, she graduated  with 750 hours from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. In 2005 she earned her pregnancy massage certificate with Kate Jordan, Bodywork for the Childbearing Year and in 2007 Kelly attended the DONA doula training in Dallas Texas. Kelly's passion for massage and children led her to Infant Massage Instructor training in 2013. Kelly has a passion for learning and a passion for sharing her knowledge with others. She feels that it is an honor to work with others on an intimate level through birth, bodywork and instruction. 

Her goal is to help people feel empowered, to accomplish more than they ever thought they could. ( to reach their full potential )
