Getting into this pose:

From mountain pose, step one foot forward and one foot back. Bend the front knee and reach up tall. Look forward and say “I am strong!” or “I am Brave!”

Benefits of this pose:

This standing posture opens the hips, lengthens the spine, stretches the legs and buttocks and strengthens the feet and ankles. It brings courage and focus!
